for what it's worth, this tailgate to bed joint(s) is a good place to spend the extra $ on the adhesion promoter wipe.

    https://www.amazon.com/3M-Adhesion-...ds=3M+Adhesive+Promoter&qid=1682211259&sr=8-5

and leave the tailgate down for as long as practical before bending the sealer for the first time; preferably in the sun. help it crease with your hand. it's like the tongue on a shoe - how it folds is how it will fit.

Took the little dudes down to NC for a weekend of fishing and MTB’ing. Still getting used to the East Coast but a good trip overall!

Our recent visit to Carrizo Plain National Monument to gawk at wildflowers like a common tourist. Since the San Andreas Fault runs thru the park, we were able to spend time on both the Pacific and North American Plates.

I just got back from here. I knew I was coming in a bit late to try to catch some of the super bloom, but it’s bone dry now! Ended up pushing west and camping in Lompoc. Still beautiful!

Started a new build out today. I'm liking how it's coming together so far.
Still need to make a couple shelves, doors, and secure everything down to a sheet of ply. Then I decide if I want a platform on the other side or more storage like this.

Getting ready to build a pressurized water tube (will be utilizing a Schrader valve) and curious what type/material folks are using on theirs.

    Thanks!

I've looked at their build several times over the years but clearly didn't pay attention to the actual parts list.
Ended up going with a blow out adapter for winterizing RVs so only need to drill/seal a single hole--screws onto the water spigot

Got my drawer/sleeping platform in. Thing is bomb proof but I may have to throw in an add a leaf for the weight off-road.
I'm going to add a 1/2" top sheet that extends over the wheel well that will make the sleeping platform 28" wide, same as my exped matress. Then carpet on the top sheet and floor.

Please be careful camping on or near tailings piles. Especially if you are with a female and looking to have kids, or have small children (I have no idea your situation). Tailings are typically very high in arsenic and lead. Even kicking up dust can cause developmental problems in fetuses and small children. /PSA

Got to love Alberta weather in the mountains in August. Camped in the Grave Flats area to do a 3 hour (one way) trail ride to Ruby Falls. The next day it was raining so we went up to a fire lookout and there was 6” of snow and whiteout conditions at the fire lookout. Even with the rain and snow I'd do it again. ETA- there are lots of river crossings on this trail ride and that’s the only time we were in the river.

I’ve been so impressed how my 2019 trd Offroad handles really difficult and steep terrain. I’ve been hanging down off a cliff and pulled myself around
