I just purchased a lift kit. Not sure what to do with my stock shocks etc from my 2020 TRD off road. They have ~24k miles on them. Do people sell them? Stick them on a shelf? throw them out?

Sell them or stick them in a box and store them. I don’t sell very many stock parts because it’s valuable to have the ability to go back if desired.

I wouldn’t recommend tossing, that’s a waste and pretty much anything I’ve ever tossed, at some point I’ve wish I could have retrieved.

I keep all mine. For instance I put a lift kit on my truck and needed the shocks rebuilt, since its my primary source of transportation, I couldn't afford to not have my truck for 2-3 weeks I was quoted for the rebuild. Luckily I had my old wheel/tires, and shocks. Was able to send off my shocks to be rebuilt with no worries.

    Sell them.
I’ve never went back stock, and I have stored parts for years. They only ever take up shelf space.

I guess I’m total opposite from the guys posting above me? But I don’t replace parts for no reason. And when I do replace them. I don’t put back on used parts.

I'd hold on to them for another seven months.
