You should try and get her into Yoga! My gf just started taking it and she is surprised how much it wears her out and tones her up! Plus it wouldn't be a bad thing if she got more flexible for the honeymoon!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Every person is different and unfortunately, what works for one person...doesn't necessarily work for another. She seems to be active, so her metabolism is probably already high (but can be boosted).

    For me.....

More reps....less weight.... when the muscles start hurting, then you'll know you can back off on the amount of weight. A little pain is OK (atleast, that's what I use as a guide). No pain no gain right? One day - work on legs & Abs. A different day work on Arms/back/shoulders.

In terms of cardio.... She'll have to find out what her rythm is. A good heart racing workout is good, but you don't wanna over-do it and exhaust herself for classes/work. And of course..... eating less and eating better.

For me...if I ate better & less, I could easily lose 10lbs or more. But...I'm not that dedicated. I've maintained the same weight for 20 years and I just don't want to gain any!!!

So the Fiance ordered Insanity the other day. It came in the mail today. We're gonna get started tomorrow. Ill do as much as I can with my messed up shoulder. I did some research, I think she'll like this a lot more than slinging weights at gym. Plus I like getting "my" time at the gym. If anyone has any experience with this and results, let me know. Everything I've seen with it looks pretty good.

    Thanks again!
