Electric cooling fan or mechanical clutch fan?

    Heritage colors, rough country seat covers.
    Anybody know if the new engine is going to have the ancient clutch/belt fan like on the 3rd gens or had Toyota decided to use electric cooling fans?

    The Tundra engine uses a clutch fan. If you forge through water you really don't want an electric fan. But we will know soon.

    I believe one of those videos showed it having an electric fan. I forget which video.

    Looks to me like an electric fan. Pro for 90%+ of drivers: less parasitic loss and better efficiency.

    Con I guess is the robustness but I’ve never forded water in my 1st gen. The deepest being this, so I’d prefer electric:
