I can fit a 26” shock compressed. Any reason I shouldn’t get a 14” fox smoothie (23” compressed)? Won’t use all the travel, I’ll never over extend it and leaf’s will limit droop.

Is that with your upper and lower mounts already welded in? If not usually mounts help or hurt the amount. I'd say if you can squeeze a 14" with not angling it at a 45* or hanging lower shock mounts below the axle, then run it.

Neither are burned in, but I can fit a 14 vertically outboard of the frame no problem. I went with the 12’s as realistically that’s enough for leafs, and I’ll do coil overs if I end up changing the rear suspension. Thanks for the feedback!

How far up through the fender well are you having to go? Got a pic of where your mounts are?

I’d probably have opted for the 12’s and just tucked the lower shock mount as high up on the axle as I can.

I have zero upper mounts right now. Plan is similar to the front, tube hoops with ruffstuff tabs (can get to within an inch of the inner fender pretty easily). The lowers are from ruffstuff intended to mount on top of the axle. Dimension below is 26", fully compressed 14" shock is 21". I can probably still use the ruffstuff lower mount on top of the axle. If I need to mount it lower it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Accutune won't have shocks until December, wow...didn't realize there were still lead time issues. They have the clickers in stock but I don't want to pay an extra $100 per shock. Wheeleveryweekend has the 7100 14" short bodies, with compressed length of 19.5" that are pretty appealing...

Alright, final answer. Wheeleveryweekend has fox's in stock, and 7100's. I went with 14" 7100's with short bodies due to packaging, and as a bonus they are also cheaper. Valving is 360/80 (adding for future reference). Also ordered energy bumps through summit.

I have been running 7100 short bodies for what seems like forever, great shock!

Finally got some bolts. Gonna cut the lower bracket down a bit and move it an inch inboard to clear the brake line better. Probly 2” to full bump, and 3” of shaft showing.

Ordered all my hydro assist stuff. Went with trail gear hoses as they are super inexpensive vs. PSC fittings. Ordered some summit fittings and hose for low pressure lines. The hydro assist fitting on my tapped box goes right into the body mount....I should be able to modify it to work. Also got an intake made, fuse box and evap mounted, battery will go behind the rear seat. Lot's of little stuff.

You got pics of what you did for front brake lines? Or what all you ordered for power steering lines? That’s pretty much all I’m lacking right now. Lol.

Front brake lines will be a short run from banjo bolt to a weld on fitting on the axle (Amazon special), then 26” trail gear braided line to master (reuse one of the abs runs behind the engine for the passenger side). Power steering I’m using three hydro lines from trail gear for high pressure, then summit hose and fittings from box to cooler, and cooler to rez, and rez to pump. Fingers crossed it all works.

I can get a full parts list posted tomorrow if you need it. I’m using a psc rez, trail gear 1650 psi pump, and Hayden cooler. All fittings are 6JIC, pump is 10 on the low pressure, and Rez is 12 on the feed.
