I just joined the Mt Hood Athletic Club and was surprised to see quite a few built Tacomas there!

I need to join back up again. Cut my membership when they had to close up during the start of Covid. I used to swim at least five days a week. I’ve gained twenty pounds since.

Yeah I’ve gained quite a bit as well. Figured it’s time to start getting healthy again. They’ve added some new stuff and had a remodel since I was there last.

well, lets get this back on track, there has to be somewhere we can all go explore, grab some lunch or something, heck someone has a piece of property and a fire pit those of us local can all hang out and BS about life and all.

heck if I didn't need to do a serious rehab on my Firepit id say we can fill my property with some trucks.

I would like to actually start meeting people. I don’t really have a lot of property but I’m happy with meeting up at Boring Brewing, Just Rum or some other place near by.

Anyone happen to make it to Badger Lake yet? I drove over road 44 and past 15mile camp a couple weeks ago and the snow was fully gone so I assumed it would be clear to Badger. I have a buddy up driving around the area and there is big timber down on the approach from the south via road 4860/grasshopper. Anyone make it from Bennett Pass or Bonney Meadows?

Normally I'm happy to bring a chainsaw and clear roads. In this case I'm asking for a friend who is currently up driving around. I'll post the results of our investigations.

Haven’t seen any reports yet but badger tends to stay snowy a little longer then Bennett because of oh many shade pockets are on the road

Oh nice! That’s a decent ways up.
It’s a different drive since the fires. And those drop offs are a whole lot more evident without trees blocking the views lol.

oh 100% ive hiked from the bottom gate all the way up there swam in my 30's then hiked back down a few times, but yeah in a few feet of snow, and lots of the trees thinned or flat out gone its pretty wild looking. we talked about going farther but a few of us were not dressed near as well as we should have been if we had gotten really stuck, i was the only one with a winch, but plenty of straps and shovels if things got weird!
