That outlet sale looked like it was gonna be killer for locals. Wish I’d thought of hitting you up about similar items, pedals/stems. Not that I “need” either. Just nice to have options.

they’re all good these days. I smile on the ripley, then the ripmo, then the 18 Hightower, then the stump jumper. I’ve been lucky to get to free demo a ton of bikes this season and I’ve decided they are all fantastic- just fuel the taco/bike habit and buy two now since they are on fire sale then sell one for equity next season and try a new one, continue the cycle FOREVER and EVER !

And or go in on a bike shop with me so we can write them off as business expenses then re sell at cost as a demo :D

Late June or winter/spring could work. August sounds like it's going to be busy at work and have some vacation planned.

They had a bunch of everything. Bunch of Guide G2 brakes, shimano everything, grips, Smith helmets, apparel, WeAreOne hoops of a few different varieties 20% off, etc.

Thank god they didn't have any 29er WAO Unions, or I'd be restringing new hoops. They had 29" factions and maybe one other type in 27.5"

I’m limping along current bike, bought some new un used tires second hand just to throw on. As I was undoing the valve to add air, rear valve stem snaps! Think it was gunked up from sealant cus last time I added through the valve core, so the stem collar thingy was slightly stuck. Frustrating. Ran to the shop and got new ones and now I’m off to ride some proper Tahoe tech

should add: 15 bucks for an unused 2.6 specialized butcher seems fair. Woopty do it’s not the dhr2. I’m gettin a new bike soon anyway. It’ll be better than an almost cooked dhr2 for when I lend the bike to others to try and get them into the sport

I’d take a Butcher over a DHR2 any day, but that’s just me. $15 for one is a solid score. Fret not.

x2, I'm running a Butcher front and rear on my hardtail and I've been very impressed. This is my first time venturing outside of Schwalbe tires though. Other bikes are running Magic Mary's up front and either a Hans Damf or Big Betty rear. Happy with those options also, but for the price of the Butcher, I'd slap it on and be extremely happy.

Read alot of good feedback on Butchers, but they dont offer it in Tan wall, so went with Elimimators/ GC.

@Pugga , with regards to running the same tire front & rear, how's that compare to having a "faster rolling" rear tire?

I'm running a trail casing and like them a lot. I'm also running Butchers with tanwalls.

With the terrain I ride, it's a lot of undulating terrain so I'm not sure I really notice the difference between a faster or slower rolling tire (I'm also not at a level of riding where I'd really notice either). They're also on my hardtail so the power delivery is a lot more efficient. Because they're on a hard tail, I'm rocking 2.6's so there's at least a little squish. In my opinion, the Butchers spin up plenty quick and have tons of grip climbing and cornering.

Just happened like 2 weeks ago now, so super fresh.

Let me get my life settled a little, esp around work, then I'd love to hit some dirt with you and anyone else in this part of the country that rides.

    Yo!! Thanks.
Welp, now the Dilemma of buying now or waiting for the big specialized sale.. decisions

Hell yeah, nice bike! I have the T7, and only one ride with them... HUGE improvement over the stock Ground Control Sports the bike came with. I guess I'll wait till the rears wear down, put the Eliminator in the rear and buy a butcher for the front... Tan wall of course.

Any of you guys have an in as to where I can find this part?
    808-17-470-KIT

It’s the Fox LSC knob for a Float X. Mine didn’t come with the knob and I’d like to add it. Part seems to be hard to come by.
