Probably dumb question but do you guys ever get a clunk in front end if you hit a speed bump too fast? This one particular speed bump in my neighborhood is huge sometimes I hit it to hard and the truck nose dives and I hear a clunk occasionally? Normal? I guess I can’t expect suspension to be completely quite on bumps like that lol.

You most likely are bottoming suspension out hitting it hard, aka hitting bump stops.

I had the same problem with mine. Turned out the front body mounts were shot with 7000 miles on the truck. It was a metal on metal clunk/screeching noise

Also have a 21 TRD OR and occasionally get a clunk/screech as you mentioned. May have Toyota check it out while I’m still under warranty. Thanks for the heads up about the body mount(s).

Mine did the same and it was worn core support bushings. Replaced under warranty, then those failed, too. After that I replaced them with 2nd gen energy suspension bushings and no problems since.

This happened to me too and there were 2 reasons mine was making the noise.

    1. My LCA and bushings were torn and leaking (due to age).
    2. My catalytic converter shield.

Given that yours is much newer than mine, these probably aren't your reasons. LOL

See the link above. It's a common problem that looks to have a solution.
