My boys have been bugging me about to taking the truck off road, guess they’re sick of not seeing any dirt on it lol!

Think it can be done less than 3 hours? lol

    LOL!

A 4 year old and a 11 year old, they can’t be in the same room for more then a few secs unattended…let alone a 6 hour round trip haha!

Picard Lake Trail by itself is listed on OF4WD with 5-hr avg completion time. @Snail81 and I finished it in just over 3 hrs in 2020.

Put the 11 year old in the bed with a leash? The D-rings are rated for 250 lbs IIRC. :notsure:

    1. reinstall upper control arms
    2. Get new bushings for UCAs
    3. pull old UCA bushings out with a press
    4. install SPC, removing my current OEM ones
    5. Get alignment? I think i can skip this step.
    6. get new sway arm links & install them, or just swaybar delete as it's cheaper
    7. bend forward skid plate back into place , or buy a slightly used one
    8. otherwise weld new support brace plates to avoid caving in the front again
    9. install the transmission skid plate
    10. reinstall the Transfer case skid plate
    11. fix/ straighten out cross member that i fucked. but I broke a sledge hammer so now...
      IMG_20230531_184928178_HDR.jpg
    12. check front again for knocking (not engine knock but could be rad mount again? i never did re-tighten the new bushings...
    13. Front fox shock bushing might be done.
    14. roller bearing is probably fucked ECGS tool is where in the world atm?
    15. check rear drum breaks, they probably need to be replaced by last year idk 150k should still be good right?
    16. Engine knock, maybe is that vacuum pump in the rear... hard to say but replace with new part
    17. Lower COntrol arm gusset stiffener, might as well replace those bushings as well
    18. spray underside of truck for rust
    19. wash and wax exterior
    20. cry as i dont want to wash the interior but i have to...

replacing something that just broke is a waste as it'll break.
but if it's broken, it can only be MORE broken. i get your drift.

fully agree, that’s why we have winters for, do the entire overhaul then.

Plus I did help him with the armour, it’s 69% more rigid now.
