2022 trd taco. Is there a simple way to make the 12v charging port (cigarette lighter) have constant power?

Are you looking for the how to kill your battery hack? j/k

Youd have to run the power from a different source than the one its on. The engine bay fuse box has several constant power points. Im not sure what in the cab fuse box is.

But most would tell you thats a bad idea, or a good way to get stranded with a dead battery.

Better to buy a solar generator type of power supply and power what you want to. That is what most of us are doing for a fridge, charger, etc.

My Fords all have constant power, never once came back to a dead battery. Leaving your phone or flashlight charging is not going to drain your vehicle battery.

The way to do it is remove you 12v outlet, unplug it from the factory wiring, hardwire it directly to your battery with an inline fuse, and reinstall. Then you'll have always on outlets.

Solar generator is way overkill for charging a phone. Hell I run my iceco fridge for 3 days without starting my truck or killing my battery (admittedly my 27f AGM is bigger than what comes in 3rd gens)

Hood Struts, My version Fogs always ON, Map & Overhead Light Mod,
If your Taco doesn't have a sliding roof, that fuse in the cab is battery juiced. NO need to run wire to engine bay.
