Good morning merh-lund and surrounding neighbors. Time to get the brakes bled on the GMC, I have an appointment to get the front end aligned tomorrow morning at MR Tire.. I almost feel bad for the guy that gets stuck doing it, it's a total mess. Camber, caster and toe are all out of whack, especially after I took out a bunch of the preload on the torsion bars, someone had them cranked to the max. I got the suspension sitting mid travel for the shock stroke.

Ehhh, out in the middle of a big lake in an aluminum boat, what could go wrong when the lighting starts??

 

Wife & I had plans to take this train ride today. It's not far from us in Romney WV. But because of predicted storms we didn't purchase tickets. And of course so far today it's nice & sunny.

Wow that looks amazing! I may look into that with the family when we are at deep creek in a couple weeks.

 

Wife & I did this train ride shortly after we bought our cabin back in 2017. Nice train ride along the river with awesome views of wildlife & the beautiful WV mountains. No assigned seating so you're free to move around on the train. They have a couple open air train cars that are great for eagle watching. Definitely worth checking out. Of course the weather here today has been warm & sunny, we should've went today as planned.

 

Of course, it's WV. Definitely worth checking out if you've never been on this train ride.

I’ll add in that if I didn’t know that location and travel it often or if the body of water was running or larger, I would not have drove through it. Remember, don’t drown, go around.

I know it wasn't a "MOD MEET" but looks like there's an interest in having one soon.

 

Made it out to the lake today. Most of the day was perfect and sunny. And then a couple good storms hit. But that didn’t stop the boy. He was trolling while we were trying to outrun it back to the dock.

 

Hopefully I can make that one! I don’t have any mods to do but I’ll definitely come hang if I can.

 

Your guys should do something on a Friday, I'd love to come, but weekends are a hard no for me unfortunately.

I can’t make it tomorrow, got plans with wife to beet her brother and his new gf in Columbia early afternoon. Good luck with the sales. Might be worth it to post in the VA or NOVA thread too, I think some of them go there.

 

Have not posted here in a while. I have a set of stock 2WD rims, tires, center caps and lug nuts, all wheels have the TPMS monitor installed, that I would like to have gone. Not much tread left on the tires. Pick up in Bowie. I am sure we can come to an agreed price.
