    When I get hit with poison ivy I go straight to taking left over predisone now or getting more from a doctor. It lingers on my body for so damn long, I need to fight from the inside.

    It’s getting better. Kind of. Doesn’t itch as bad, but my skin looks like a freaking sea creature. Found that scalding hot water in the shower alleviates the itch for a while- rather deal with burns than itching….

    This, or when you just got to work and are nowhere near home. The belt tensioner croaked on me with my Oldsmobile long ago but same basic result.

    I would. Swapped mine at 110K and 12 years old. Still looked serviceable but I got it free and was already doing other maintainence before winter. Beats doing it outside in the cold since I can't fit the trucks in the garage.
