Any ideas for additional storage in first gen tacoma xtracab?????

I need ideas!!!!! I am in need of more room in my 2 door xtracab tacoma. The back seats would be my preferred areas to add some type of storage system. The truck bed is also a possibility but I hate the look of most tool boxes so probably something slick looking and low profile. Send me any suggestions!!!!!

 

What kind of storage? I did a 2/3 rear seat delete.

 

How big does it need to be?

One can always go down over the years I have built very secure storage compartments.

You can build something like this. Since it is made of wood, you can customize it to whatever size you need. Now that I have had it for a couple of years, there are a couple things I would change, but I am VERY happy with it overall.

Had these in my 1G too, sorry no pics in that truck, use totes and DeWalt small tool boxes to prop them up, like my stuff removable in the rare case I need to haul an extra person. Want something more low profile, could use a long rifle case, Harbor Fright has those cheap.
