My drive shaft boot ripped and it’s what’s been causing what felt like “axel wrap”. Water was getting in the spline and was causing it to dry out and hence the gripping and clunk feeling instead of the sliding. I called around and found this place but they gave me the wrong boot for an ‘08 not an ‘18 which I need. Anyone have an extra drive shaft boot?

your truck does not appear to be old enough for the aftermarket to support this part.
Amazon has boots for various vehicles that might fit, but need to know length, and shaft diameter to match it up with another vehicle brand. Or you could just grease it regularly. Like a 1st gen.

Although i have a feeling the boot is used because the slip shaft doesn't have the seal like used to be on slip yoke's.
Maybe just clue it together with this

I saw all of those on Amazon and none of them seem to fit or be the right size. Called three local shops and non of them seem to know which boot I’m talking about or the right size. One shop has given me two boots now both being the wrong ones. Another shop told me that the rear drive shaft doesn’t have a boot then the same shop told me that they had a boot and the boot I had on mine was a shock boot. When I got there they insisted that the drive shaft and boot they had was for my Tacoma when it was definitely for a 2nd gen. I guess my only option is to get it from Toyota and pay an arm and a leg oem. It’s like finding a unicorn I guess. Thanks though

Price drop. Save yourself the headache of several trips to Home Depot with a DIY job and take this home for $75. I would say it’s “brand new” but I did set it up and test it once at home before it never got used out at camp. So it’s essentially new.

This one comes with extra overland points since it has a BLAZE ORANGE lid and rubbery accents on the legs.

Where in the Denver area? (you can PM)

I'm interested in just the center cap on the tri-spoke (non painted one) but understand if you want to keep it with the wheel.
