    A stitched cover or a full reupholster can both be done for reasonably cheap if you DIY it.

    Yeah, I'm aware of those covers but I'm not completely sold on it. I've heard nothing but difficulties in installation and nearly all "after" pics I've seen make me cringe. I also don't like that they add thickness, although perhaps in some instances the stock wrap could be removed. I'm a picky SOB so not sure a DIY re-wrap is the way to go.

    mine started showing some really bad wear at the top. i think it's because i was using a lot of hand sanitizer at my last job and i didn't let it dry fully before grabbing the wheel.

    Get a quote from an upholstery shop. They are known to replace wheel leather, and they can make it look OEM.

    My exes car looked the same, she smoked like a train and used hand sanitizer a lot. And never cleaned the car.
