Do you have wired Android Auto now? It looks like 2019s don't, which surprises me so I don't know if I am finding the correct information.

All that does is convert wired to wireless. It won't give you Android Auto if you don't already have it.

Does anyone do woolwax/FF undercoating up in NH ME or VT? I know we have at least 2 great options in MA but the 4 hour round trip is a bit much.

@BadDNA use to do it when he lived in MA

There is NHOU in Chichester, which uses NHOU, but I guess they can spray black now. You can also look on the kellsport/woolwax site at the distributor locator

Correct. 2019 and older doesn't have AA or CarPlay. There are aftermarket solutions to add those to the older units, but they're not cheap and not a simple USB add-on.

Edit: This is for 4Runners (not sure about Tacos), thought I was on the 4Runner forum for a moment. Haven't had my coffee yet.

I did use NHOU before. Do you have an opinion of which one you like better? Is WW noticeably better or is it just easier to get?

I haven't dealt with NHOU personally. My buddy has it on his truck and his dad's truck. He said it lasts for a while, I think they're on year 3 since they last got it done.

Trucks I'm spraying now that I sprayed with WW last year still have a fair amount of WW on them and I wouldn't hesitate to go another winter on it the way it sits. FF to me gets water sprayed off far too easily and requires more maintenance than the WW

Same with a good chunk of the trucks I'm seeing. Still typicall areas of wash off near wheel wells and splash behind but mostly great adhesion

Yup but I'd say easily 90% of the undercarriage still has a good coating on it, never hurts to add more for the protection though

I have an apple version. Unless you have a 2020+ HU, then you won't have the option to adapt to wireless, the software isn't in there for android auto or apple carplay. That said, the wireless thing is awesome. Drains battery like nobody's business, BUT it's nice, with the push button my keys and phone don't leave my pockets for 95% of my use :)

I think Alex did a round last year. It's not letting me tag him I don't think.

Yup, can confirm. Also, +1 to WW/FF over oils - when mine washes off, it's "natural" wax and such. I splash through puddles, so I don't like to leave oil slicks.

I only judge because of where you are, that said, I have a relatively new found respect for the dominos/cumbies segment, they don't claim to be gourmet, they are what they are, quick, cheap, mediocre, but fine for what they are.

I just love that John made no mention that he's having it with chocolate milk
