Did you use the detergent pods? I tried the pods for a little while, but the membrane wouldn't dissolve completely and would gunk up the filter screens super quickly.

I think we use Cascade, but it is in some pod form.

That's odd. I'm going on 10yrs with my stainless Whirlpool and have not experienced those issues.
    Maybe it's the water thing.

I've used both. Hard and plastic.
Without rinse aid, the plastics will get spots.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Kitchen Aid for over 7 years here. It's been installed and moved several times. It's the one appliance we "had" to bring with use. Also utilize the liquid versus the pods.

So after cleaning it perfectly the screen got a bunch of oozie screed on it again. Coming from inside I believe. Clean and repeat.

I put up temporary metal stakes on the property line between my house and my next door neighbor to show a fence line. My wife has been after me to put up a fence to block the view
of his unkept yard from ours. This guy is so dense I doubt it will sink in and he'll take the hint to clean up his overgrown weeds, trashcans and wooden gate-fence that is falling down.

I've got a Bosch dishwasher, a water softener and use Cascade pods. There were a couple of times that things were funky and the solution was to wash the filter. I finally bought this
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004Q3WUI..._k1_1_5&amp=&crid=3FJWZOAHFFX42&sprefix=bosch
and swap the filters after every load. I just put the dirty filter in with the dishes. Since then there has never been any problems with the washer.

It's taking me awhile to clean the whole thing. At least this last cycle the screen was much cleaner. Not perfect, but cleaner.

I've got a list of new appliances I'm buying for the next house after this place sells. :burp:

I really want the black stainless steel Bosch 800 dishwasher even though it's $1350. :anonymous: I've read so many positive reviews about them.

Currently have an old GE Profile PDW8280N20SS dishwasher that's super quiet and works extremely well. I can't speak positively about the old ge profile microwave and electric range though.

The induction ranges from Bosch and LG are pretty neat too.
