    I did a thing.

Installed a Course Motorsport phone Mount with the Magsafe head for wireless charging. I used a USB Converter that I tapped in to the Cigarette lighter outlet for power.

Links to everything I used. I am not affiliated with any of these sellers nor make any money for sharing the links. I just know someone will ask for links and I might was will give it now then later.

Drove her to the dealer for the 1 year birthday celebration. Celebrated with a fresh filter and a big drink of 0W20.
Came home and put the skid access panel back on and now she's resting peacefully in the garage.
    Our life is so exciting.

Can't go wrong with any Nokian as they're designed for winter conditions. I have studded Nokian Hakka's and the truck is an actual tank when 4WD is engaged in either snow or ice.

I saw a Nokian AT tire at one of their demo events in Copper Mountain, but I can't find any information about it on their website. Of course it won't have the same street cred (trail cred?) as the bigger names but I did wonder if it might be a magic all-around tire.

It's an opinion, but I don't believe in an "all-around" tire. In winter, I want to get where I'm going with no drama, so I won't trust an AT tire. However, some people don't want a dedicated winter set and for those I recommend the Falken Wildpeak series.

A friend runs the A/3TW on his 3rd gen and it does alright on plowed and sanded city streets as long as he's careful. It also does well on fire roads, on the highway, in wet conditions, etc.; it's a good all-around tire. However, the A/3TW doesn't excel at solving any one problem as you have to make compromises in the compound and tread pattern in order to span the range of environments the tire operates in. As I mentioned in an earlier post, you can't run dedicated winters in the summer because the compound is exceptionally soft relative to an AT tire. The compound needs to be soft in order to maintain it's pliability in freezing temperatures which allows you to maintain traction. AT tires need a compound that won't disintegrate at 80°F but also won't become rock solid at 20°F. What you get is a tire that isn't pliable enough to grip ice but also won't melt away in the summer. Additionally, a tread pattern that is designed for rock crawling won't hold on ice as that pattern is built around a large, flat surface area. On ice, you want really small nooks and crannies that flex and grip the ice. Look at the tread pattern of the Hakka 10 vs. the A/3TW and it becomes quickly evident which one will win the grip battle.

So an AT tire can get the job done given the right conditions. But if you're traversing unplowed mountain passes at night with snow falling, I'm going to rely on a dedicated winter set because I want to get home safely.

Agreed. I have been using dedicated snow tires on my vehicles for several years. Something that has not been mentioned is the decrease in stopping distance with snow tires due to the softer compound and complex tread pattern.

You put that armrest storage in backwards.
Does the armrest lid close fine with it like that?
I can kind of see how it makes more sense in that position you placed it though.

Happy wife, happy life! Just having a little fun with you.

It took me awhile to learn how to post photos, and hell at my age, memory is not what it used to be, every time I post a photo it's like the first time all over again! :angrygirl:

Closes fine, I like it this way as I hardly ever have loose change so having it the back isn't an issue for me.

    Lots of stuff
Decided to go ahead and change my spark plugs for an upcoming road trip. Found the first one backing out and the second barely finger tight.

In bought the truck certified used and they are factory plugs, must’ve been a Friday at the factory.

I dealt with some surface rust underneath my truck. Took a wire brush to the problem spots and hit it with black Rust Reformer

Where'd you get the console storage? I like that. I got my 2017 used and it had those pull straps in the back. Weird lol.
