    oh they exist lol
300lbs? Probably not one out of a box
They usually belong behind a minivan which is perfect if you happen to have a truck with a minivan motor

I never liked hitch mounted racks because of the single point of contact. If a hitch mounted rack was in my future it would have more than one contact point to the hitch. Certainly possible as a custom build.

The one I have can supposedly carry 550 lbs and the spec’d tongue weight on the 4r is 500 lbs.

Whatever setup you choose, you’ll want airbags on the back of the 4R. 350ish lbs hanging off the back here and no squat with the bags.

For you guys that needed to extend your filler next on your 3rd gen Tacomas what did you guys do? I can't find really much info on this subject. I'm getting tired of stuffing the gas nozzle into my wheel well.

I’d imagine similar to 2nd gen and most people just cut and extend it with some fuel hose.

I see people with 2nd gens recommending a 4runner filler tube as an extension but have 6" fenders so I'm not positive if it's long enough. Worse comes to worse I'll just get a hole saw and put my filler neck into my bed

It's pretty simple just extend the hoses. If you don't have a supplier local to you just measure all of the hose internal diameters of the OE hoses and hop on Summit Racing and order up everything you need. Just make sure that you use all fuel grade hoses.

slightly different reason for changing (additional fuel tank in my case) but the stock fill necks are weldable steel

hm, i did not. this is the first I've thought about that. is the stock one internal to the tank at the fill neck entrance?
I have no open ports from the aux tank, stock EVAP system is handling venting with no issues or CELs (5000 miles or so on this setup so far)

That’s how mine is set up. The fabricator had basically cut off the ends of the OEM filler and used those segments as couplers for extension hoses. Originally run to a hole cut in the bedside, but I’ve since cut more holes and relocated a tundra filler into the bed.

yeah it is internal to the tank, you should be able to add an inline one to the aux tank pretty easily.

any other details on your aux tank?

planning to do almost exactly what it looks like you have done. run an aftermarket sender for aux tank low and a (cheapish) transfer pump to the main tank

bought a tank from Boyd Welding, came with an internal 340 pump I'm using through a relay, controlled by a Apexus switch/fuel level gauge

Total Chaos mid-travel front. JD Fab SUA rear.
There was a truck at JDf that I saw with the filler neck inside the bed/on the wheel well and the cap was like a boat gas cap. Pretty cool. It had oversized fenders, unknown what bulge. I think he is on here.
