What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Getting organized for the bumper/winch/light bar install. Glad I didn’t sell the moto lift yet.

May be able to solo this quest. Might only install the winch and light bar (

$160 Rough Country 20" Black Series Dual Row CREE LED Light Bar - 70920BL

RC Black Series 20”) on the bumper and call it a day.

Have plans later and the bumper cutting part of this still has the orifice pucker factor at 11 for me… so I know I’ll take like 3 hours walking around the tape mark before cutting

Wiring everything definitely another day.



Light bar in with much fiddling. If you’re doing this same install, skip the RC L-brackets and use the ones from the bumper.



The fit of this 20” light bar on the bumper is indeed as perfect as claimed.

Yeah, I bought these twice and they broke each time or were to loose, gave up and got the AJT ones, WAY better!

Forgot to mention that switching from one level of the OTT tune to another as well as all future updates are free.

 

Switched ours to the RAV4 Prime knobs (PN 90010-23059). Love 'em! Just have to pop out the small bit of plastic on the back of the RAV4 knob and they slip right on.

VERY impressive! I'm getting to the age where I'm realizing that I'm never going down those roads anymore, but I live vicariously through all of the folks' dedication here. Thanks to all for posting about your hard work!

 

Installed the new Fab Fours rear bumper. Took my time and a couple jack stands allowed me to it solo. Dropped spare tire to move some wiring to allow the trailer light connector to reach and aired up the spare.

 

One guess on what I did today.
