A little something every chance we get.
    Looks devilish, no?
It's an Orbit product, and really does work well. Amazon always has the best price, UNLESS, you find it on sale at Home Depot, where it's like $25 cheaper!

Yep, I lived in San Diego for 25 years 10 of which were in Rancho Bernardo. Lots of sightings at Miramar. Osprey sighting were very common.

Speaking of which. My sister took up hunting elk with a bow last year. Her husband got her into it. Even though my dad was a huge hunter snd I and my brother did some she has never hunted until last year at age 58. Her first year and she drew on a 5X6 Bull. Definitely a hit, they tracked the blood for two days but never found it.

This year they were back up there [they have a cabin in Wyoming] on another elk hunt. They were walking along a ridge and my sister was behind him when suddenly she caught a glare off the skull bone from the sun in the canyon below. They went down to investigate and found the remains of what they thought was the bull she shot last year. Sure enough they found her arrow.

It was scavenged pretty good and sat for a year. Many other hunters in the area and it’s quite amazing it was her that found it. He was just 100 yards from where they stopped their search last year. They hauled the antlers and skull home and just got it back from the taxidermist yesterday. They didn’t get an elk this year but this made up for it. Bummed they missed out on the meat but happy that he obviously died right away and then scavenged upon. Fed quite a few critters through a harsh winter.

    My sister and her husband.

Osprey sightings are very common up here in New Hamster as well, but they are the feathered kind. :p

    lol
Very common in San Diego. I’m back in Colorado now and have an Osprey platform 1/8 of a mile from my front door. :)

And lots of Bald Eagles as well.

Yeah, most of us thought that experience would have turned her off on the sport but it hasn’t. She’s very thrilled to continue on doing it.

    Morning all:

Things are picking up, saw 2 more deer yesterday where I missed the buck. looks like I found a honey hole, and my buddy found a fresh scrape and a huge rub, of course it's now supposed to rain quite a bit and cut into our hunting time. :(

It's a shame that your sister lost the elk Dirtjunkie, it's not a good feeling but it happens.

Ahhh..the infamous album cover that was immediately recalled. Not before a good number made their way out to the public. Recalled because it was released at the same time they had a plane crash and some of the members died. The flames on the cover coincidentally were touching the ones that died. The rerelease didn’t have the flames.

This happened in 1979. Years later I was at a swap meet in San Diego and came across the collectible recalled cover. It was at the end of the day and they were closing up shop. I didn’t have any cash on me to buy it. They didn’t know what they had and it was priced the same as all the used albums around it.

Oh, and top of the morning to you all.
