I was honestly surprised the mega truck won, but hard to compete with that much power and traction.

For those with Amazon prime, the covenant is a really good movie on prime video. Worth checking out if you’re into war movies.

Scored this big ass roof basket today for 60% off, brand new in box off of Facebook marketplace. Only paid $85, goes for $200 on Amazon. I’ll only put it up there for family trips, I don’t want to be driving around with it full time because it looks a bit goofy.

Why is there only 1 sandal next to the trashcan?

I shortened the basket by about a foot and mounted it and decided it’ll just live up there. Too much of a pain to take on and off and I can still fit in my garage, so it’ll stay. Still 5’x3’ so plenty of storage.

I was always unsure of the benefit of roof baskets, thinking “How much stuff can that really hold to be helpful?” But am pleasantly surprised at how useful it is when space is a premium. Going camping this weekend with the family and they require a lot of stuff.

@nguyenpatrickt you play pickleball as well?! It’s addicting. I only started playing a month ago but already have my own paddle and shoes, and play a couple of times a week.

yeah, nothing serious. its mainly just to get outside and hang out with my youth leaders.

Last week we had 20 ppl come out to play all last min and random. so we kinda mixed and matched playing each other. all skill levels so the new ppl will be paired up with the good ppl and everyone is learning how to play.

Its just a good time to be together.

I'd just like to note that from this photo you could 100% upgrade your driveway like your neighbour and finally get back into the truck scene. Please and thank you <3

Gawd I wish. Even expanding it by a foot on either side with pavers would be acceptable, but not going to do that as renters.

It has been boring in here lately. So I thought I would share a small mod....my wife got me black inserts for the "Tundra" in my tailgate for our anniversary! She also got me some stuff to delete some of the chrome in the interior (I forgot to take a picture)...Why Toyota made the trim around the shift bezel chrome is beyond me! I bet @EatSleepTacos can vouch for this too, but it has an uncanny nac for blinding me constantly!

Not a bad upgrade. I’ve entertained plasti-dipping the emblems on mine. Seems like it might be more of a prep and headache though. Swapping the chrome bezel is a nice touch too. I’ve got some chrome trim inside my Nissan I’d like to swap out because of the sun glare also.
