If the shunt is rated high enough to handle the load of the starter, it should be fine.

How are you liking the Redarc? I'm about to add a second battery to my system and a 2000w inverter. I recently switched to using an induction burner, for cooking. I've been running it off of my Jackery 1500, but don't want to do that forever. I also figured out how to keep my batteries above freezing, for winter camping. I picked up a Propex heater. Batteries can't freeze, if the topper is heated lol. I have everything I need to add the second battery, except the fuses, connectors, and stuff like that. Still need to draw up some schematics and get an idea of everything I will need.

Very nice, sounds like you’ve got it figured out! The Redarc charger just got put through the paces on a 2,500+ mile road trip over the course of 2.5 weeks and worked perfectly. Best part is I can mount under the hood so it stays out of the way. My Victron shunt has been working intermittently though so I might have to replace that. Upgraded to a bigger fridge and never ran out of power. Will add more details when I get time (just got home today).

Just finished doing a separate write-up for what I'm calling version 1.1 of my house power setup. Originally was going to tack onto this thread but it turned out to be more photos than I thought and wanted to keep things clean and organized.
