Do you have a heater? 10/10 recommend. Here's the heater i have (inexpensive) and a video showing he mods I did to make it better.

I DID NOT replace the actual heater unit as he did. But the fuel tank and heater hose set-up work very well.

You guys moving to PA? Prepare for an uptick in taxes once you move in. They look at the realty listing and check for any improvements. They got me for another $500 a year after I moved in. You can file for homestead exemption which will give you a percentage off.

 

Thanks for the heads-up. My income tax goes down so that's a bonus. I'm about 4.7% plus 3.02% to the county. PA charges horribly-high rates for school taxes, though. This one was assessed this year (according to the listing) and nothing's been improved within close to a decade.

I'll do what I can at least for 15 years so - then maybe retire to a RV? I dunno. I expect taxes - this is the east where folks seem to love 'em. But the house I'm trying to get sure beats being extorted by Harford county for 3% of my income, when I don't live on county property. This biggest issue will be doubling what i now pay monthly for rent, compared with the mortgage for this home.

We'll DEFINATELY have time for a TWMD/PA meet at my current house, then road-trip/caravan to the new place (with everyone's truck full of our shit!) then an unboxing party!

If it all goes down, We'll clear part of the land and put it on hipcamp. There's also a just-add-plumbing space that'd be great for airBnB. So many dreams/options. First thing - get them to take the offer.
