Could be correct for Japanese cars. When I went through training at VW back in the day they told us it was a safety issue.

I think with these I’ll finally be able to droop my truck out with the tires on. Problem is I don’t know if the garage is tall enough haha

Anybody do the Paid off mod via Toyota Financial before?

Im at the point where I can just lump sum the rest of what I owe but Im curious if the interest calculations favor paying it off normally. Made sure to confirm they dont have a prepayment penalty so thats not a factor.

It will benefit you to pay it off if you can. Have had good customer service when I dealt with them in the past and easy to get a live person on the phone.

    Stuff.. but not much
The more frequent you pay the less interest you pay. If you can payoff before the end of your contract do it and save yourself a little money.

I paid off my 2021 shortly after purchasing it (via TFS). Same for my 2016 (TFS as well).

There are no prepayment penalties with TFS.

Interest is calculated on the amount remaining, being modified daily. Not paying it off quickly costs more money.

Thanks, thats what I figured but a friend said *the opposite* so I was scratching my head and figured Id get input from those among us who have specifically dealt with TFS.

I know now what I must do. Itll be nice to get the mon(k)ey off my back.

Plus you’re allowed to mod it after it’s paid off
