Is that the frame with the gunmetal on the lower portion? Looks like the gunmetal - I peaked at this bike a while back…dang…

All these bikes on sale…haha! I need to quit looking at bike websites!

I hear it’s worth the trip, pretty sendy too. I drove by it yesterday, tons of bikes on cars leaving.
In season the whitewater on the Deerfield is worthwhile, Fife Brook mellow and the Dryway stout.

I can feel the season slipping away. I do actually enjoy riding the late fall grease. It keeps you on your toes.

Don’t feel bad. I’ve had Covid for a week and prior to that other commitments. I haven’t been on dirt for over three weeks. The best riding in Colorado is this time of year.

Here’s a faint memory of my last ride.

Haha I've only been to Thunder MTB park but thanks to that video I'd like to pedal the trails coming off of the mountain. I don't think you could go wrong. Worse comes to worst Vermont is over the border and has so much to offer. Keep me posted, I'll join ya.

Yeah, they are on sale now too. I built mine from the frame up from the "limited blue" frame, which is okay, but at the time I really wanted (and still do) the brushed aluminum.

haha! nice. way to show up! an epic wouldn't work for any of the enduro races out here though, there's some serious terrain to contend with that any short travel would just struggle with. but still, kudos for that kid for doing it and crushing it!

I know it's not quality, but good enough for any torque your bicycle may see. Worth throwing in a carry with tool kit to leave in vehicle.

I could make a decent tool box to carry with pretty cheap at Walmart, my biggest thing is I want the case that neatly holds everything and those aren't cheap anywhere.

I'd like to have one of them impact cases with the hard foam. It's a want not a need. Tool bags for me too for now.

I had one of those husky cantilever boxes with kaizen foam inserts...the idea was cool but the execution was a big pain in the ass. especially back then when my tool collection was growing

I now use a thin milwaukee packout that has enough room for everything I would need to tear down and build a bike. it's kind of messy but I have everything I would need at a race or bike trip where I might need to work on the bike. plus side is I can work take everything outside when the weather is nice haha.

toolbox porn is a real thing though, I get excited seeing some of those rifle sized pelican cases with perfect tool cutouts and everything, it's just not for me haha

I have the craftsman modular boxes with the pullout drawers and it's the best thing ever.
I'd love to have a roller crate, but no one seems to want to build one with drawers.

It’s so simple, possibly the greatest thing about it. Exposed cables, easy to access bolts on the shock and pivots, etc.

The M29 I got I can’t get to all of the bolts on the shock as easy and that bothers me. For a DH bike simplicity takes the cake.

However justifying this bike with closest park to me being 250 miles isn’t going to happen.

It costs $650 more than the new V10 as well so that doesn’t help.

i saw that! I like the concept that Neko is going for. and I saw Asa ride the enduro version at a race and absolutely crush it. it's such a rider/mechanic/racer friendly bike. too bad i'm not into the dh bikes these days.
