Are you installing yourself? I see a lot of users here like the N2 for ease of install, but I don’t know anything about it.
Do you have a push to start? There’s a preorder for a new one that doesn’t turn off the truck when you open the door. First on the market with that feature

I like the one you link to (the preorder).
    Except.
    Smartphone APP Phone Control
    S
tart your car from your smartphone from anywhere in the world. First year of service is free, $39.99 each year after. 3x lock from OEM fob will work as well.

Nah, I'll stop short of the app. I don't want to pay $40 a year to start my truck

    There are several purchase options:
    • 3x from OEM Fob only
    • 1-way 1500ft
    • 2-way 3000ft
    • Smart Phone controls
    • Full House
So the first one uses the OEM fob, and the others use their fob.
<sarcasm>That's all I need is to carry around 2 fobs. </sarcasm>

It’s all about your personal needs.
Prior to apps and oem fob functionality, you had to carry a remote start fob as it was the only option.
3x oem fob should work on your truck right now, so the only reason to pay for this option would be for the door override. You’d only be able to start your truck in the range of the oem fob, so basically just from inside your house. When you’re out and about you’d have to be right next to the thing before it would work. Why even bother remote starting it right before you get in?

I pay 3 years at a time to use an app with my autostart so I can fire it up from the center of a large cement building, before I walk the half mile from work to the parking lot when it’s 0F and below. It will show where my truck is at (gps), whether or not the doors are locked and cabin temp anywhere with cellular coverage. I can program speed and geofence notifications and set up a start schedule, so the vehicle runs daily when parked for extended periods and it’s real cold. It also has Bluetooth, but the distance is about equal to the oem fob.

I have Compustar plus DroneMobile on all 3 vehicles. Well worth the money to pay for the subscription to have the mobile app.

I have the N2 remote start and it's been great. You have to pay a yearly fee after the first year though. And the oem fob only works to start it when you're in range of the truck. The app has been super convenient for me though and I don't mind the yearly fee for the convenience of having the truck either cooled down or warmed up before I try to get my 2 year old in the truck

I have the Arctic Start which works with Drone Mobile. Mine's a manual so it required two extra modules for the transmission and the security. Info in link below.

    The remote replaces yours.

The 2 way long range remotes are great for starting your Taco from inside a building. For close range your oem remote starts the truck too.
