I feel that. I have so many extra / spare parts laying around. I'm finally culling my non-cased 1/18 models as I don't want to buy another case. I only hang onto them because I don't want to get rid of them, despite the fact they're sitting in a box in my cellar, never to see the light of day.

I bid on a set of BMX GT Mag wheels on eBay last week. Not because I'm a BMX enthusiast anymore, but because I want to convert my old Dyno back to how it was when I was a kid so I wouldn't feel guilty selling my Haro. I haven't ridden either since junior high, but somehow I need to bid $300 on something I won't use.

@ABA180 Do you have any connections for a cheap set of white GT Tomahawks (the straight ones, not the 80s blade style)? I just want to throw them back on my Dyno with white GT tires for a display build. Then the Haro can go up for sale.

Luckily outside of sentimental reasons I was falling out of love with it anyways. I don't like the neck much compared to other guitars I've played, but my late cousin gave it to me when I was 10-11, so it's special and I'll never get rid of it.

    I'm a hobbyist light, I don't build my own.

Right now - RK98 with sea salt linear silent switches. This is quieter than a regular keyboard, it's great for the office. 96% is the best percent - numpad, efficient use of space.

I have an RK68 w/ GK Pegasus switches, tactile silent. Wanted to try a TKL, I do like it, sometimes I miss the numpad, I switch back and forth between those two boards at work a lot. Both are BT/2.4/USB C, so it's nice, I can switch it to type on my phone. Both are hot swap as well.

I have some wired silent red 100% I got a while back because they put up a wall in my office between the office folks and the manufacturing area and it made it super quiet in here, suddenly I was making an unreasonable amount of noise

Keychron K4 w/ Browns at home. Not hot swappable, this was a bit too loud for the office. BT and USB C, not 2.4 though. Has some trouble with Linux.

Nice. I'm just rocking a stock GMMK 100% with gateron browns, wired. Looking at new keypads and trying to decide on switches. Browns are alright but I think I want to try something else after having these for 3 years

Our trash collection was through TAM out of Shaftsbury, VT but Casella bought them so now we're with them. It's just the two of us so we do every other week collection - one bin for no-sort recycling and one for trash.

We pay around $33/month - they didn't adjust the rate from what we were paying TAM initially - just a couple annual increases of less than a dollar since. No complaints - they come when they're supposed to.

There's no way this is green in person. At least I hope. I'm curious what the pickups are, as they'll be coming out.

Those are nice. I really like the multiple connection capabilities of the boards I have. I can flip a switch and it goes to bluetooth, and then I can select my computer, my phone, or my work phone. It's nice to not have to type using a phone keyboard.

I don't touch type, I hunt and peck and bottom out, like a neanderthal. I use them at work so the silent switches are awesome for me.

Try a 96% hot swap. Here's an RK, I really like how there's no dead space on them, super efficient use of space, with a numpad.
    https://www.amazon.com/RK-ROYAL-KLU...fos.17d9e15d-4e43-4581-b373-0e5c1a776d5d&th=1

The Keychron K4 is really nice, but doesn't have 2.4 if that's something you want.

I got this one, actually, but there's a K4 hot swap that DOESN'T have the frame to it, and I was not a fan of that. My left wrist rests on the front corner of my boards time to time/taps it, just because of how I type like a neanderthal, and I was not a fan of that. This one has the aluminum frame though.
    https://www.amazon.com/Keychron-Swa...fos.17d9e15d-4e43-4581-b373-0e5c1a776d5d&th=1

Hot swap is the way to go though, in my opinion. If I get "tired" of this keyboard, I can get a new set of switches for a lot less than a new board. The only downside to some of these boards is the function keys being mapped.

This is a screenshot of my RK68, the FN key mapping for Home, End, Insert, etc - I don't have those memorized, so I can't get a new set of keycaps without these being printed on them, so I'm stuck with the stock keycaps  One thing I really like about the Keychron is that there's a backlight lock option, I don't have that on the RKs.

I have a G600 12 button mouse I used to use for CAD a lot. It was great, buttons mapped to drawing shortcuts (circles, lines, etc). I don't use it much anymore since I don't use CAD much anymore :( Nowadays I use a simple mouse similar to my keyboards - BT, 2.4, or wired. Actually not sure if this mouse does anything with the wire other than charging...

Wireless is nice so that I can shove everything off to the side in favor of a notepad easier. I really like that my keyboard is wired and wireless. This one even has USB passthroughs!

I'll take a look into those. The GMMK is hot swappable as well I'm pretty sure. It's just a modular mechanical keyboard (hence the name). I had bought a new set of caps for it but they didn't have the translucent letters for the backlighting so I didn't put them on.

Are they as "diligent" as MA with the overlords always watching??
    Probably why.
I'm 50% betting my brand new truck fails for damaged front plate...I'm ordering a new one as the one I have is pretty bad.

You need a new shop! I’ve only failed once and it was because of play at the front end (which was a good catch on their part, had to make some repairs)

So apparently there is a camera that reads your plate as part of the inspection. If it has difficulty reading it you get rejected.

It'll be vibrant, but definitely blue. Depending on the model it can be any number of pups but more than likely some no name ceramic junk
Sheesh, clearly that taillight can't function with that crack in it :anonymous:

I’m just ordering an identical set, putting it on for inspection. Then keeping them for spares and putting these ones back on

Matt is your taillight hookup :)

The cameras went up because of how much people were complaining about how inspection programs were BS, and people would just go to "a guy", and get their inspection done. Statistically, they're BS with and without cameras, but we can't backtrack and say "Oh, okay, let's use math" - we need the income stream of inspections to function, I guess, so we have to justify them, somehow.... I'll stop myself there.

Interestingly, the horn has to work BUT it doesn't need to be connected to the driver airbag/horn button. You can have a momentary switch anywhere for the horn, that's all that's legally needed.
