I can take more detailed pics if desired.

You can look at different straps (Voile, Austere) for general stapping down items. You can look into MOLLE pouches - many different sizes and configurations. I have strapped my extra awning poles, Tenkara kit, water fill hose and such to the doors.

For rivnuts, I made a storage rack for my table:
    upload_2023-11-20_17-28-18.png

I modified some home "coat" hooks and mounted the to the rivnuts for additional hanging hooks.

^ I've done some similar stuff with mine. I go to the local Surplus store and get Mollle bags/pouches, etc for storage.. and use eyelet hooks in the M8s for tiedown points..

    Molle pouches!
I knew there was a very obvious search term I was just totally missing. Yes, thank you two, that’s exactly it!
Oh I like the table mount, I just ordered a Vrnclr gear pouch for that area but that gives me some ideas

Molle pouches… so obvious now; thanks again. I have a few good surplus stores here, good idea.

Is that a custom built drawer support and what brand and size tub is that underneath?

I made it out of extrusion from Tnutz. The tub is from Amazon: Hudson Exchange 24x15x7.5. It’s been working out pretty nicely! I didn’t need tilting fridge slide or the drawer to be on sliders. There is enough room to store my step ladder next to it and also access my bed inverter if needed. I can also still access my fridge from the side or rear door which is nice. I keep all my recovery gear in the tub so it’s easy to get to.

I finally decided to remove my Prinsu rack. I'm going to leave it off for a while and see what I think. But for the future: which Sherpa Animas are people using 21 or 16?

For those in rainy areas, how does the super pacific handle the water? Are they many issues with leaks?

Mine leaked through the roof when I first got it, but Super Pacific replaced my entire roof (including the black T-track) for free under warranty and it's been dry ever since.

Running a diesel heater when it's cool and wet helps a ton too, since condensation is definitely an issue otherwise.

Thanks yeah I plan to run a diesel heater.

Wondering if the thermal pack updates for just the roof portion will help with condensation?

Researching the X1 has a smaller height of the wedge space. Do you know if a 4" mattress will be too tall to close properly? Its 3" but has about a 1" condensation mat(that is somewhat compressible). But seems I should just go with the exped and deflate if I really want to get the thermal pack.

The number 1 way to combat condensation is with airflow (second is with a dry heat source). I've been running an fan that I attach to the ceiling (https://www.amazon.com/Caframo-Ulti...xkEoEvT8EzhtFW9LK2oq8hJvtNBoC4zQQAvD_BwE&th=1) for two years now with year round camping and have zero moisture issues. The thermal pack doesn't hurt, per se (I've also experienced no material moisture with the insulation kit, just an increase in overall warmth).

My test on Wednesday night indicated that I gained an additional 10F vs having no insulation. With my dickinson fireplace on low I was able to sleep comfortably at 60F with the outside temp at 28-30F all night. Previously I would notice around 20deg above ambient when running slightly above low. I'm sure if I turned the fireplace up I could really heat it up.

Very minimal leaking inside. I spent a lot of time sealing before the X1 went on. I do have issues that many others do with the lack of a gutter causing water to leak into cab doors when raining (extra fun when you're trying to buckle a toddler in). I also have issues with the rear door window directing water into the rear gull flap, and it leaks out when I open it (but not into the camper). I'm pretty sure I saw that SP has addressed this issue but I have not gotten around to following up on that.

Truck bed stays very dry though.

With all the similar campers out now, anyone tried and been able to mod accessories for others to the SP?

Anyone know if there are any special modifications or parts needed to put one of these on the first gen beds? I see someone selling a used one for a decent price but I think it’s coming off a 2nd gen. My understanding is the main unit itself fits on all 3 gens but I’m curious how it would attach since my 1st gen bed rail situation is quite diffrent from 2nd and 3rd gen’s. Thanks!
