I've learned to tune much of that out; he means well but think he's just run out of people that'll listen to him

I am actually in Kansas now, southeast corner, a mile or so from Oklahoma border. It's crazy.... Everything is freaking green and lush out here. Totally different from the high mountain desert. I do miss the arid desert but I love it here. I've got 4 little nephews that think I'm the bee's knees and I love showing them the way 'men' do things, jajaja
Life threw me a couple curveballs I wasn't expecting (like it does to most of us) and I wanted out of the city life.... I'm such a wannabe cowboy lol
But I got my own gig going here working for myself with appliance and home repair.
My old boy Tuck made it to 21 years old (I know! I know! That's freaking old!) and then moved on to the other side.
So I rebooted life out here in the sticks and I absolutely love it so far. :):)

That's awesome man, glad to hear things are going well for you. I remember you were talking about moving before, I think it was TX or somewhere? Sometimes a change of scenery is much needed. My only memories of Kansas are driving around near the MO border where my relatives live, it was pretty much just all flat and yellow lol.

Sorry to hear about Tuck but 21 years is a good long life...we adopted Dex almost a year ago now, he's a good boy even if he can be a handful at times

I've used them before a couple times. There are some threads on here though that warn people against them, they can be hard to deal with if your order gets messed up somehow...not much in the way of customer service.

McGeorge Toyota has (had?) great prices online but they changed ownership recently and that might have changed.

Other one had the swivel mount offset the wrong way and was too big cause I didn't think to measure actual width of my setup

The McGeorge parts site tells me the part number 43330-39556 isn't correct for a 2000 4wd auto 2.7L.... But aren't the 4wd taco ball joints interchangeable for all the first Gen 4wd models?

has to do with the bolts used between the later models with the boot protectors around the LBJ boots vs the earlier ones that don't have them. The bolts are different. The ball joint assembly itself is the same. I don't recall if the boot protectors started in 2000 or 2001+

So if I reuse the same bolts I should be fine as the LBJ is the same? Sounds good. I appreciate you taking the time to answer
