Might happen. But I’m still holding out on keeping it original. Just because I want something oldschool

I used to own a 97 SC400, one of the MANY (40+) cars that I've owned and sold. To this day that car is the only one that I regret getting rid of.

Luckily I have a bad habit of keeping my cars and I’ve amassed a mess of vehicles now. LOL

Well. It’s been a while without an update… ive tinkered with the car. Nothi no really here to report… still waiting on a contact at FCP euro to see if he can locate any parts to rebuild my motor.. no luck on a used motor either. So I’m putting the word out here,

IF any one knows of a running m121 for sale, please, get ahold of me.

Didn't even really know about these until after I purchased and started researching them lol. Was listed locally and it was just too mint not to pick up.
Super unique and cool car!! It's a 200 Diesel. But swapping a New cummins R2.8 crate motor in. It was SOOOO Slow
I'm in the middle of MAJOR modding it now:stirthepot:

WOW that things minty.. mine fell into my lap. Knew nothing about them. But yea. As I’ve looked into them, I really like this little thing. It’s actual proper german engineering.

You can say that again. After taking it apart I can appreciate the worksmanship and engineering that went into this, and that was back in the 60’s! The independent rear suspension with a lateral spring was high tech for the era.

Swing Arm suspension. Horrible handling performance wise, BUT amazing comfort

That’s good to know thanks. I was trying to look into it and see if it will hold up. The new engine is rated at 300tq and 190hp. guess we will see :bananadead:

Mine being a gasser, if my trucks get done before anything happens to this one, I’m really contemplating an N/A rotary setup.

Maybe this one has what you need? Seems to be similar vintage, although it has stacked headlights.
At a yard in Sunset, TX. skip to 3:33.

I’ll check that video later tonight. I’ve got a guy in Germany trying to source parts for me currently

Late 60's and into the 90's that kind of stuff was all I worked on, no American made stuff other than an occasional Vett crossed through door. Fond memories! Good luck with your adventure!
