Oboz for me. I wear the non-waterproof sawtooth II.

Ended up with Keen Targhee 3s. They're pretty good, but I'm probably going to get a pair of Altra boots at some point to use when I don't need waterproof boots, and just eat the cost of having to replace them more often due to the lower durability. Got a couple pairs of their shoes for everyday use and hiking, and I just find them super comfortable.

i like the Oboz for the form fitting heel cup. I have the wide version of Sawtooth. Something about this model made them less wide because i dont have a wide foot. The end game was a good fitting heal and plenty of wiggle room for the toes. I tried on the targhee iii, just didnt fit my arches right. Many people still buy the targhee ii's if available, i think wider in toe.

Follow-up on this: Tore off a portion the outsole of the Targhee 3s about a month ago, after some pretty light use. Disappointing. Going to give Lems Outlanders a try next, I think.

Also ripped the outsole on my regular-wear Altras just walking around after about the same amount of time. Pretty sure I can just glue it back on, since it's not too bad yet. The Altra trail runners/light hikers are still holding up good, at least.
