Good morning. I plan on vegging out all day. I might watch a Christmas movie, of my choosing, or White Christmas if the wife wants to.

One more day off for me before I have to go back to work, but it'll be a short week. Lots of left overs in the fridge for the week, I like that. Only bad thing is I have to turn the alarm clock back on tonight.

    Yea I’m around.
This Christmas garbage just puts me in a funk for about 30 days.
By Sat I should be back to a much better place..
We never lost power the past two bad storms but, I had everything in crisis mode in case.

Going outside shortly and packing up the lights to start getting back to normal..

Awake again at 02:30, all the things that need doin' are going through my head.

Dad had the same sleep habits, and his basement workshop was directly under my mother's bed room.

:santa: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! An actual "winter weather" week ahead - but nothing that falls from the sky. Morning temps that say "I'm not going out there yet!" all week.

    Christmas PSA!!

If you got these cool decorations, store them on something magnetic and that you can press together - because nothing I could do would make them flat enough to stay on the car - even at city speeds - this year. They are just going to curl up.

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X33HYGD

Fun for a year - I will go back to wrapped garland next year!

    That is all!

I had no problem with them on the back of the Avalon. I have the same set

Good morning. Getting ready to help my son paint an upstairs bedroom that he converted into a library/weight room. By helping I mean telling him what to do. Harris Teeter has pork shoulders on sale for 97 cents a pound.

So what is a normal low because 32° isn't cold. We're at 33 and that's above normal. We are on track to have the warmest December on record. Normal high should be in the low twenties and single digits lows. Last year 15" of snow and hoping for above 0 highs

Average in December is 65/43. Odds of a sunny 75 Christmas are good. We typically have single digit freezing days in a given year.

    I have the greatest true story Christmas tale . . . .

Moved here so wife could be closer to her sister, they don't see each other much and are on the phone most of the time, but that's another story. Wife doesn't do a lot of visiting with the extended family, also another story. Anyway

Wife's sister, let's call her Joan, was at the family gift exchange before Christmas. Each of the children opened a gift, Joan would say "hey, I have one just like that!" Daughter was first, said "yeah now I have one just like yours!" Next relative opens a gift, "hey I have one of those!" "Yeah now I have one too, I love it!" This went on for like 6 gifts until the last one opened this little side table, it was a fairly unique table that sat in her bathroom." "NOW JUST A $#%#$% MINUTE, what the hell is going on, that is MY TABLE! It was in my second bathroom!"

Turns out the fam had been working since mid November, every time they'd go to visit grandma they'd pocket something and take it home, those were the gifts they were all opening.
