3rd Gen tire fitment

Looking at replacing my stock rubber on stock 17” wheels. OEM is 265/65r17
I have seen folks us 265/70r17
But does anyone know if a 255/75r17 will work w/ a Stock suspension

 

I’m on 3rd set of Yoko G003 in 255/85/16 in a year. Got right around 40k a set on the first two. All stock. Been stuffed flexed you name it. On stock SR5 alloys with +25 offset. No rubbing anywhere.

Yep. Bought it December 11 of 22. I’m currently in Patagonia Argentina via Virginia, Alaska, and any and all points in between. Been on the road since first week of April. 84877 to be exact.

Tires and wheels forum is where it is at for you my guy. Search "pizza cutters" as that is what some lovingly refer to their 255 width tire as. I liked the look of the 255 70 17s but ended up going with 275 70 17s on Vision Mankz IIs w/ +12mm of offset. Will not be much help in the 255 area for you.
