Thanks, I'm pretty sure the dealer was talking about the Redarc. It helps that the dealer is also a friend!
I wasn't too worried about it yet because I won't need it until March, but knowing which direction to go is awesome.

Got an email sayin' I have a refund coming. Guess I was one of the 1st five. Those funds will go toward a dash-cam.

Congrats on the refund! Do you know which dashcam you are going to get? If not, I have one brand new that I'd sell because I sold the vehicle I was going to put it into (CRV not the Taco, nobody panic). It's a VIOFO A229 Plus 2 channel, latest STARVIS sensor, polarizing filter, and hardware kit. PM me if interested and I'll make you a deal. If not that's fine, anyone else that's interested let me know.

Pro tip... Don't leave your bed lights on for 2 days. They'll eventually drain your battery.

My door jam had some ice that made it not close as easy as usual... The lights (puddle) eventually shut off, but because of the constant use... the bulb on the drives side died. Bother.

Should put it way up. They are cheap and I grab videos from mine more often than I expected

Pro tip, any electrical load should be ignition switched or have a low voltage cut off so this doesn’t happen

If your vehicle seems like it's not warming up, check your sunroof.
On the Rav4 the sunroof switch is by an overhead storage bin where the wife keeps the garage door remote.
I'm pulling the fuse for the sunroof.

Once the battery voltage gets to a certain level, it shuts off the circuit so the battery won’t run all the way down and leave you stranded.

Both my fridge and switch pro have it built in. You can also get a module to put inline to do the same thing.

Okay cool. Not sure if my Auxbeam switch panel has that built in. Will have to check, but I did wire that through the fuse panel to run on accessory ignition. Regardless, the bed lights are not wired through the panel. The on/off switch is in the bed. Same with my under hood lights, switch under the hood.

Water jugs. Half installed. The other half will be on the other side of the post and removable.

Yeah, I could do that too, but I like the convenience of having the switch under the hood. Pop the hood and turn em on. Same with the bed lights. No need to have the truck ignition in accessory mode and I generally don't have either of those lights on for long. Unless I forget to turn them off. :bananadead:

What about a plunger switch in between tailgate and bed to go on and off when tailgate opens/closes?
Could tap in a secondary switch in the box if necessary.
    Food for thought.

I considered that when I installed the lights, but the tailgate is open when I have my bed tent set up and occasionally when hauling. Secondary switch would help with that I suppose. Food for thought indeed...
