Got a 2022 base SR. Love the simplicty of the truck but want to make it look a little less basic.

I ordered new wheels (Method 703) and tires (Toyo AT3 in 265/70/17). Looking to level out the truck and make it sit a little better. I don't want to do anything super aggressive, and as far as ride quality goes - I rarely drive the thing, it gets driven maybe 500 miles a month, so it's not a huge concern for me. I know these so-called "spacer-lifts" are frowned upon.

    I purchased the following:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B3G3BMH?ie=UTF8
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JCF41NX?ie=UTF8

In addition to new lug nuts, swapping over old TPMS sensors, and an alignment, do I need any extra parts for this lift to be complete? If it matters, mine is a RWD Tacoma, so I don't think I need the Needle Bearing bushing since I have no front diff.

    Thank you

Please see 12:31 for top out spacers. Larger bump stops or bump stop spacers should be required for spacer lifts, so you don't bottom out the coilover. :notsure:

Thank you, I thought I read about requiring bump-stops too. Do you know if they are needed on a 2" lift? I read that if the lift is small enough and tame (less than 3") - usually new bump stops and UCA are not required.

I've had 2.5 inch spacers front and 2 inch add a leaf on my 2008 and my current 2017 with no issues what so ever.

The video says 1/2" of top spacer max for oem coilover. Anything more will bottom out the coilover, resulting in many bent shocks. This specific discussion is for oem coilovers with top spacers. Note, full stroke coilovers that can achieve 3" will have a different length shock body to accommodate the extra travel. The oem coilovers, plus top spacer, adds too much metal inside the max travel distance. Metal to metal to metal is not good. A taller bump stop will prevent the metal to metal contact (metal to metal to rubber).

Edit: this guy explains it good:

Not to mention the issues of full drop having cv bind potential. Since you extend the overall length of the shock assembly
