Eddy used like a 3/16 rod and you would drill a hole behind your flare and bolt it there and then back to the factory spot on the other side. I don't run a support and just cleaned up the edge of my cuts. I'd tape up 1" and just paint it black

I have the spring compressors to help out with the 6112's and both John and myself have installed many hammer hangers on many a truck. We pretty much have it down to a science, minus the possible bleeding head injuries while underneath the vehicle LOL, but it wouldn't be a good Mod day unless somebody drew blood in some type of way.

How sketchy are normal spring compressors? I need to take the 3x14x650 springs off my foxs.

They're all sketchy lol, wall mounted ones are the least sketchy. At least for coilovers you just need to compress a little to get the tension off the lock collar versus assembled struts that need more compression

Thats a good point... I also am not too sure what springs to get.

Targeting ride height +1-1.5" above stock, going to run full armor/winch but keep it light as possible. For armor its ok if it is slightly consumable for me.

Accutune has fox takeoff springs for cheap. they are 600's 13" long.

People usually stay the same spring rate and go with longer springs so you can maintain the height and springrate. 700lb springs are stiff
