They've helped us camping a few times in both hot and cold. Our buddies F150 with a 7.0L engine took a couple in parallel (series? I can never remember) for a proper turn over but they worked. In the heat they do better as batteries generally do. They hold a charge for a good while and are also pretty quick to charge. I like having them.

Another, had several years. Always worked, charged it once a year lately and still was able to jump 3 cars at work when the cold hit. They live in my vehicles.

    Now have 2 of them.

I bought a GB20 NOCO for my 1sr gen. When I got my 2nd gen 4.0L I bumped up to a GB40 and the 20 went into my partner’s Subaru.

I also have the genius charger that I use to charge and during the winter be a battery tender while parked for months without driving now that I have a beater commuter.

no issues, have recommended to many people.

You're welcome! I agree with your "decent insurance" assessment, but I don't share your "reviews are very mixed" finding. Reviews I read about (NOCO) and similar lithium-ion based jump starters are overwhelmingly positive. The same is true of personal feedback from friends/acquaintances who own them. Appreciate the info you posted "after a little digging," which is applicable to virtually all lithium-ion based battery products. Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) is better technology, but it remains more expensive and availability is pretty limited in this application. Until it becomes more mainstream, lithium-ion is the standard and provides the most "bang for the buck."

This will be my first NOCO purchase but, as I said, friends/acquaintances who own them report satisfaction with their reliabilitty and performance. As others said, most I know who have them store them in their vehicles year-round. Periodic charging is recommended but, assuming they're stored fully charged, they should retain sufficient charge to function correctly for months.

Great deal for someone - GLWS!

I'm thinking of moving up to 17" wheels (specifically the 4R trd pro variety) and so looking to sell my 16's while the winter tires are on the truck. 33" Open Country's and a spare unmounted matching wheel as well but the protection ring has seen some trail love. I bought the truck with the sos big calipers and I don't know how/why the former owner ran 16's as there was definitely some slight rubbing. Anywho, anyone local-ish to the front range interested before I start posting around? Tires have okay tread but they are LOUD on the pavement. Currently being stored under my deck where no sun reaches them. They currently do have tpms sensors installed and I'd love to keep them but for the right price I can leave the sensors in.

I have no idea how to price this set especially given a matching spare.... 900? Also open to trading for deaver stage 1's, or for the wheels listed above.

I wish there was something like that for my sister in NJ. She just broke her fibula and has already bought a shower chair and crutches and knee scooter.
