    Good morning,

I just got a Tacoma TRD off road & im ready to start modding her up.

I wanted to know what is the biggest size for all terrain tires best for stock suspension. I’ve heard 255/85/16s is the largest I could go.

I’ve heard many times to ride out the stock until it’s time to upgrade so I was wondering what is the biggest tire combo I can have without having to cut or install a new lift kit.

Is there anyone who can post a pic of their truck & their tire size for comparison? Thanks!

Again I’m a newbie so please take it easy on me lol

Put 255/85/16 on my 22 in April of 24 with 6875 miles. I’ve gone through two sets in the last 11 months since then and have 99847 miles now. On my third set now in Montevideo Uruguay. Have been flexed to the extreme and stuffed. No touching anywhere.

On stock +25 wheels. Suspension is at stock height with stock everything.

I'm glad I stumbled upon this post. I've been wanting to get new wheels for mine and was wanting to get some bigger tires. Good luck on your modding adventure (also commenting to follow this thread for info)
