Good morning. Restful day yesterday. I expect more of the same today. I have a few additional items to gather up for an electric circuit install at my cousins on Saturday. Rained all day yesterday and it is still wet outside this morning. Harris teeter has baby back ribs on BOGO this week and today is seniors' day at HT. Off to the gym them on to the grocery store, back home for a quick guitar practices session then a chair yoga class. Full morning them a restful afternoon with just a second guitar practice session.

A high school bud just got diagnosed with Parkinson’s. You seem to be handling it well. Great job!
To date I have been very fortunate health wise. I only break bones and sever tendons. Usually my fault from doing stupid things.
My heart goes out to everyone in hopes you all can control your health!

Quiet day here. Starting plans to camp out for 10 days in the Wind River Range in August. Grandson and his hiking bud want me to shuttle supplies for their CDT backpack trip. I did it for him last summer while he hiked 104 miles of the CDT. I had a great time even though I was by myself just hiking, fishing, and in general enjoying the outdoors.

Everyone have a great day and make it count!

    Morning all...I have a question.
Is there anyone here that is familiar with the Chestnut Hill area of Philly?
My nephew and his family just moved there and they're renting now but are going to be looking to buy a home.
I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a general contractor in the area.
    Thanks

I have a friend who's lived in that vicinity for most of his adult life. We're overdue for a chat. I'll see if he has any ideas.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/pill poppers. We've been extremely fortunate in that particular regard, only one pill per day per person in this household. But I know how quickly that can change! Those AFIB remedies sound very clever but I can see how they might take some practice to get to a point of being effective. I'm going to tell my sister about them.

On to more mundane matters. Ever since I got the Caterham I've had a bit of a dilemma, namely that my tool storage is not sufficient for keeping both metric and English size wrenches/sockets handy. My method up until now has been to keep the English stuff in storage and roll them out when needed, but that just takes up a bunch of space on flat surfaces. It's a hassle. And I have some major work coming up on the Caterham. So yesterday I bit the bullet and ordered a larger top tool chest. It will roughly double the square inches I have to put stuff, and that should hopefully do the trick. Only one problem: the new box is one inch deeper than the current bottom toolbox. Doh! But it's the best one for the space I have, in terms of usefulness and capacity. So today's project will be to attach a strip of wood to the back edge of the bottom box so I can move it out from the wall without leaving a gap. Knowing me I'd be constantly dropping stuff behind it. 10mm sockets would be primary victims! :p

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! No hangar time again, but I thought I would attach the back yard grass, and make me feel better about looking at it. Cleaning the garden beds is at a point where it's a real pain, because there are bulbs coming up, so it's hard to just use the trimmer to clean it. Didn't feel too bad doing the work, but I feel it today. I know the two things I work on at the hangar would just kill me; but maybe next week, because the wife goes back to remove the wrap on Tuesday. We'll see.
Off for a hair cut and some quick erranding today.

I was just wondering about the Cat @wdb!
I have a wire version of the plier holder that Tom mentioned. I like it.

I'm just about in the middle of all those pills! Happy to get rid of one any time I can. You go @roundrocktom !

I haven't cut my hair since March of 2020 because of Covid... and most of the time I like it.

I joined the ranks of the "Follicley [sp?] Challenged" nearly 30 years ago; what hair I have remaining I started cutting myself in the late 1990s.

Hey, @wdb! Guess what is on the DISPATCH cover this month (CAF Magazine)? I had to take pictures of the manilla cover, because the color inside is too glossy up close.

    20240307_160055.jpg

Guess what is behind the pilot?

    20240307_160101.jpg

That "person" must be very flexible! And at most, there is an ass cushion. And the back of the metal frame pilot seat must hinge. I am amazed. One of our pilots had it out Monday on a beautiful day, and made it to the SW corner of Lockhart. I was outside, and heard "not a cessna, not a radial", but something completely different! What a sound! He did a couple loops, and a roll, and headed back to the hangar.
