@Yacob_D the work has already exceeded my expectations man. So excited!

Jokes aside, I'm in no hurry, so having an excuse to come sip buffalo trace and coors with the boys sounds like a good time, regardless of whose rig we're tinkering on.

I'm still gonna talk my shit though. :hattip:

Maybe this time you will show up instead of sitting at home pulling your pork. :jerkoff:

Don't be mad that you didn't get the invite this time! My weekends are actually pretty cleared up minus Saturday mornings and a fantasy baseball draft coming up - the wife works Sundays so she can't book me lol

I actually said "You missed a spot" when chatting with a neighbor. But he was painting the gas tank of his motorcycle and was trying to get the job done perfectly, so it was not completely obnoxious of me.

I am up for some real-to-life actual wrenching so I can learn. I am fairly competent mechanically but would probably leave needle bearings to others for the moment. Would be especially interested if anyone had spark plugs needing attention so I could help with that.

We can always start on your truck first, Dont get us wrong we handle business but enjoy a few cold ones in the process. Plugs are easy and the process can be learned very quickly, Maybe have Ole Max do the needle bearings and if you feel like meeting the crew and watching a few shenaigans while we wrench your more than welcome over to my place! Always something to learn, I've all my idler pulleys on the shelf I'd like to get done and an extra pair of hand can make it a bit smoother and faster. Nothing like pulling the front clip and exposing the front end amongst all of your buddies!

I am keeping closer to stock while the bank still owns it. Skid plates and H9s are safe enough. Even new tires so that off-road is safer falls more-or-less under "routine life changes". Spark plugs are mostly easy, I know ... but seeing the tricks for driver side is higher on the list. And learning about how to wire for extra lights (separate panel) or installing a compressor in the engine bay may be quite interesting.

Hell Yes!! I have tubingand some more plate. We can CAD the bracket to mount to the bumper. Thanks, grateful the wind wasn't blowing the gas away. I had a lot of beads to finish up on the trailer.
Now taking orders for swing out! You'll make #3, Paul and I can get an idea of the design. He has an existing hybrid bumper that will need to modify slightly for this application. We would have to get creating with your stock bumper unless you have an idea of getting a new one in the future??

Full Time OverBuilt Fabrication is just over the hill boys! My Part time gig with dad is getting shorter, more time for mods and focus on builds!

I used to carry this as a tree saver and short static strap for other various recovery stuff. Probably used it 50+ times.

Definitely going to have to get something new first, I've been looking around at options haven't found 'the one' yet though

You think 3/16 tube will be strong enough to hold the weight of a 35? Taking into account how fast I do drive offroad so it will be bouncing.

It will be 1/4" I don't recall if they offer 3/16"wall?? I could be wrong unless you have found it with the company stuff? It come down to the strike plate, latch to take the beating. I know Josh swing bounces like hell with his 35" and has ripped the 3/16" material on his BAMF. More gussets and a solid latch system should keep it steady for your kinda beating!

I think thats the same one @TACOTU3 is running that we need to modify a bit for a swing?
