My wife wanted a Tacoma so bought a 2023 TRD Pro solar Octane she loves it but when driving it I think the engine and transmission isn’t in sync. Wants to hunt gears on Highway and it bothers me. I think it needs OTT. I am in the Harrisburg PA area. Who do I look ford to help me get the truck driving smooth.

    Welcome aboard!

Sloppy transmission is a known issue with Tacomas. The remedy is a ECU tune, like the link Tazminator provided. It is a relatively cheap mod, and you can also change a few other settings such as disabling the annoying seatbelt chime, etc.

You can also look at the KD Max tune if they have a tuner closer to you. Don't hesitate to get a tune. It will also eliminate the throttle lag that is so annoying. It will seem like a totally different vehicle that is enjoyable to drive. You will fight over who gets to drive it. Good luck.
