Far from perfected, but am confident I will be successful at it!

At least with the two in college you won't have to worry about room and board for a little while

Damn, I don't know what to say. I hope you can stick around. Always looking forward to the scratching trails. If you do move, I'm all in for a road trip.

    Edit,
You better be around for Tigerton. I've got camp site for ya.

Was shocked this morning by an email from Northland College asking for money, said that they need 12 million dollars by a date in April or they will be closing at the end of the school year. So sorry to hear that you are affected by this.

Ditto @pearing. You know you can't get rid of us so easily. Who's going to talk me into a flatbed when the Tundra becomes a necessity?

Not sure if I've said it enough but the front diff plug is a PITA.

Get one of these if you haven't.

I had to kick my 10mm allen wrench to get it started when I did mine. Not the brightest idea in retrospect but sometimes tools need abuse. It's how they build character.

Tundra? That's crazy talk. Full size trucks aren't allowed at Tigerton. (Yes, my long boi is just as long as a full size, but it's skinny!)

The front diff was the one that I worried about the most. I scraped the hell out of the inside of those plugs before I even started. My 10mm Allen slid in pretty easily, and it bottomed out.

When I first tried to turn it, it wouldn't budge. My 10mm is a 3/8" drive, so I took my 1/2" breaker bar and a 1/2" to 3/8 adapter and it surprisingly popped with just a hard push on the end of the breaker bar. I did have a cheater ready in case it didn't go right away (2' piece of pipe).

I put the 10mm Allen plugs back in...live on the edge!

Don't get me wrong I'm driving the Tacoma into my grave if I can. We'd like some more kids eventually and they only get bigger. Not that the newer Tundras have much more backseat space than a Tacoma, but I can haul more of their stuff at least lol

Cleaned up ALF's interior today. 'bout 3 hrs, hitting every nook and cranny with a boars hair brush and damn, it looks pretty good. Interior wasn't bad but hadn't had a thorough cleaning since my trip to Moab last Oct. Was good to get all of the dirt from the hard-to-reach areas.
I hope it isn't dusty in Ark.

Ran some of those exact plugs for a few years... now just open. They did stay well for a while, but my game has gotten better and they stopped wanting to stay in.

Good to know. Was wondering if anyone had done anything similiar.

I bought the 4 pack thinking they might pop out like that goddamn receiver plug I had at AVF.

In keeping with TW standards, I've bought a few new tools since I've been in Florida. :bananadance:

The 5.0 battery was free, so it would have actually been irresponsible not to buy the drill/impact kit.

You need to add an M18 Hatchet, very pleased with the performance, my new favorite tool.
