Maybe this idea is dumb/crazy but I was looking to purchase a new pump to inflate my paddleboard using the bed power (one I currently have is 12V cigarette lighter) and I thought maybe I could buy something that would also work for inflating my tires. I don't do a ton of offroading to the extent that I need to air down but having this option would be nice. Anyone have a set up like this?

paddleboard max pressure is 15psi but I'm not sure if an ARB pump or other has the available connections or would work well for this purpose.

I have been kicking around the idea of grabbing one of those as an easy solution. Using the bed power for air instead of 12v isn't a great idea due to the inefficiency of the inverter and the power output limitation when compared to a 12v compressor inflator. However, the versatility of a compressor that can run on 120v for use around the house and for the truck is a good benefit.

Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.

My bed wont put out enough to start the compressor motor. Granted I only tried with my 6 gallon. The compressor will just make noise but never kick over.

Amp draw on the 1 gallon is 2.8 amps, (2.8Ax120V=336watts). the 6 gallon lists amp draw at 12Amps, 1,440Watts. Our trucks have a 400watt inverter.

Get a Viair88p (or other Viair model), powered by direct battery connections. The 88p takes all four of my tired from 20 PSI to 35 PSI without issue, and has adapters for soccer balls and I would suspect your paddleboard.

The paddleboard connections are kinda weird/unique. I'd be eying this if I were you:

    https://www.amazon.com/Nikou-SUP-Pu...seopfMO5CBh8n-XHQLX8H207AxV0jxhAaAtvpEALw_wcB

Then combine with any pump that can use a standard female schrader end. I might even just get this for the pump that connects directly to my battery for the tires and see if this pumps faster than the cigarette lighter pump.
