Got this for the right price, I’ll reiterate, I am not a 510 guy, but I keep saying that, and they keep showing up… I do like HKS stuff also found this old school eclipse

 

The 510 Datsun was a great car if you could keep them from rusting. I have a few in my collection because of their racing heritage. The are very desirable today if can be found.

my wife and I ran to Wally’s this morning to get a beer… it’s for her father, who passed when she was young, we put a beer out for him for his birthday. I found this and called my buddy. Asked him if he wanted it. He told me it’s a super chase and that I should probably just keep it. Didn’t know they made those in mb mp’s…

Played a little today.
2 of the same Silverados, so I painted one and did a wheel swap. Painted the interior tan. New airbrush and old paint, so it is not 100%, but okay for what it was supposed to be.
Also did a wheel swap on one of the Hilux's that I have multiples of.

 

Anyone have one of these laying around for trade?

 

Visited daughter....wasn't going to go to the dollar G or Walmart as I was just there a few days earlier and thought it would be the same stuff. But then I decided to go since it was the weekend and they may have restocked. Well, the Dollar General was empty of people but the pegs were freshly stocked with what appears to be a few new cases as I was able to get good stuff as posted. You can see the pegs full and some good cars/trucks ready to be pulled.

Then I contemplated even going over to Walmart next as I got my fill at DG....glad I did that as well. Nothing in dump bin (nothing new) and the pegs were not that great either. On my way out the aisle I saw the cart full of boxes. there it was, a HW box asking me to take it to a private area and go through it. So I did...container aisle next to cart. I placed box in a large blue container and went through it. No super TH but was able to get the 53 Chevy. And a few more....so very good Easter weekend for HW hunting. Pics below... **And the Fast & Furious last pic were at the 5 Below store for 5 bucks...they were plastic unlike the Jada Challenger next to them.

I was excited to see this forum on the front page this morning since I didn't know it existed. Is this the place to discuss matchbox cars too or strictly hot wheels?

I was given a bunch of very old, in box, matchbox cars from my grandfather before he passed away. This may be sacrilege to post here, but when he gave them to me he said sell these and pay for (my 2 year old's) college education. I don't collect them so I'm thinking about keeping one or two to remember him and selling the rest. I don't know if they are worth that much, or maybe he doesn't realize how expensive college has become. Where is the best place to get them appraised and sell them?

I attached the only picture I have on hand. I'll have to get them down from my attic and take better pictures at some point.

I don't have the specific answers to your questions but I do see quite a few in there that I would be interested in. I suspect that they are not going to be as valuable as one might think.

Perhaps @williams63 will have better information on the value.
