Good to meet you all, glad to be part of an enthusiast group/ forum again.

My name is Obi, I'm a 36yr old British guy living in Texas. I used to be part of groups in the UK for my BMW e36 328i Msport, and then for my Toyota Hilux 1995 (which I miss dearly)

My father has just signed over his 2002 Tacoma Pre-Runner v6 3.4L to me, she's done 266,000 miles. The first thing I did was a full oil change (fully synthetic) along with filters. I also noticed the wheel arches needed re spraying (which I also did just last week) - attached photos before and after. IMG_2748.jpg IMG_2749.jpg IMG_2750.jpg IMG_2838.jpg IMG_2839.jpg IMG_2840.jpg

Anyway, glad to be part of a group again, hope you are all well :)

I also this afternoon have just installed new headlights, side lights & fog lights, I think they look really clean. Didnt realise how much effort it is to take the main headlight out (taking off the front grill) before and after photos below. Enjoy :)IMG_3237.jpg

    Welcome aboard!

A little elbow grease and TLC make a huge difference! I bet you can see better at night now. And if you are still using halogen bulbs, you will see even better with LED bulbs

Thank you for the welcome. What LED’s do you suggest? I’m still using standard bulbs yes.

I’ve been living in Houston for the last 6 years. First Montrose area Taft & Westheimer. And now I live really close to UofH campus.
