Replaced the rear bumper and gas tank straps today. The straps were an accident waiting to happen.

Made up a new ground cable from the battery to the fender. It was partially done to try out my new hydraulic crimper.

Changed out my upper ball joints to get truck ready for inspection. I used Mevotech joints. I like the joint itself, but what I wasted most of my time on was those infernal blue boots! Tore one just getting it on. The wire spring in the boot is just too damn tight, and the way the joint is designed, you can't put the boot on until after the joint is pressed into the a arm. I am going to measure the joint and spec out a prothane boot that I can replace these crap boots with.

It really isn’t, this was my first time…it’s pretty easy. Messy as hell, but definitely not hard at all. I would give it a 2-3 out of 10 lol!

    Super easy!

Installed a Pop & Lock 85509. It was pretty straightforward. I went up the passenger side. Wires tapped into kick-panel. Works like a charm. Pretty happy with it.

This was my first modification. As a new Tacoma owner and recent member of TW, I have learned that it is a good idea to upgrade our tailgates.
    Thanks to TacomaWorld.

Very nice, Pop & Lock was my 2nd mod after installing the bakflip, although I only got the one with the manual key lock, i just ordered the add on power lock as I quickly learned it was a hassle having to grab the key everytime I needed to get the stroller out.

Just ate a phat meal at Outback and a 4th gen Tacoma was behind me at a traffic light. I had to turn the mirror so I wouldn't heave my meal. Close call and def not a fan.

I like it way better than the Turd gen and it's messed up front end. The 4th gen will be my next truck.
