    Hey Everyone!
I don’t have a Tacoma yet but plan on getting one. I know the 1GR-FE isn’t a powerhouse but with a supercharger makes about 305. Is that all I can get or is there little things I can do to get some more? Bigger exhaust? Cold air intake? ect. Thanks!

OP does not have one yet.

you’re referencing the OEM/Magnusson supercharger. There is more boost and power to be made with mods to that system, see the performance and tuning sub forum and there’s a whole sticky about it.
There’s also the Procharger system (centrifugal). I believe that system can get about 375 max HP out of the 4.0 with no other mods.

the above post is right in message tho, these trucks are slow and inefficient by modern performance standards. Still, they can be enjoyable to drive imo.
Lots of really ambitious builds all around the forum, happy hunting. Oh and no real significant gains with exhaust or CAI.
