The drivers side shoulder belt get damp when it rains. I have owned this 2007 Tacoma for a month , v6 with auto trans and of course high milage, I am comfortable with my purchase and I am not too upset with the seat belt problem but I thought someone else may have had the same issue and could give me some advice. Thanks

Any roof mods on that thing? Something up there is definitely not sealed properly. The quick fix is to fill said bad sealed thing with silicone, but need to find out where the gap is.

Water runs down hill or with air flow. Stationary start with the roof, any holes or sunroof, when moving, start with the windshield seals at the top of the glass.

Probably leaking through the roof rack bolts/holes. Check the ones on the driver side first.

2nd gens don't have sunroofs unless added aftermarket, so that's one fewer leak path.

Look on the bright side, at least you don't have curtain airbags to get soaked.

Had the same issue when I installed the OEM roof-rack. Took it apart, reinstalled with silicone sealer around the bolts, and it fixed the problem.
