Like a keystone jack? That might be what I end up doing if it works...

 

Off-Roam mount with a jeepuniq ball adapter. I barely have to move my hand off the wheel to operate the radio.

The base unit is behind the passenger kick panel. I have a RJ45 jack in the center console and the antenna is on the driver's side ditch light bracket.

 

I just 3m taped it to the side of the passenger footwell and the hand piece is on my rubigrid mount

 

Yep just a normal cat 6 bulkhead. I ordered this one.

I was not a fan of the one I had when I set up a CB for my cannonball trip.

It went in okay, the blank came out okay, but getting the pass through out was a huge PITA, and it didn't come out in one piece. I liked it, in theory, but in practice it was a big no. Also, right after that trip, I took out the CB since it was only truckers whining at merge points and asking about how many spots were open at stops.

Unrelated but you happen to have that license plate holder that mounts to a recovery point on a wishlist or something? Having some issue finding it on Amazon
